Employee surveillance in Europe: Balancing privacy rights and management control

A conference organised by Privacy Laws & Business and hosted by law firm,

Sessions include: Getting started: Pre-employment screening of job applicants; Monitoring employees’ use of telephone, e-mails, the Internet and social networking sites; Use of CCTV cameras, storage of the images, and access by management and staff in different scenarios; Drug and alcohol testing; Appropriate circumstances for access by managers to employees' medical records; Whistle blowing lines; Interacting with Labour Unions and Works Councils; Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and privacy; Use of external survey companies (and other service providers); Cloud computing; Constructing a Europe-wide employee surveillance policy: Strategy, Negotiations, Tools, Auditing.
